Are you self-made or are you depending on God? We can’t completely beat our flesh into submission. Only God can do that. Here’s a good way to measure that. Are you seeing progress in your life? Yeah, sometimes it’s slow, but are you different? Are you growing in God? If not you might be trying to do it on your own.
If you aren’t sure here’s what you do. Stop and ask God. He’ll talk to you. Ask Him what you need to do better, where you need to submit to Him. It’s a relationship
