This is a pretty deep message examining God’s Authority. It’s interesting to look back at Adam and Eve in the light of authority. When they ate of the fruit of the knowledge of Good and Evil they began to try and figure out what is right or wrong on their own, without God’s help.
We see that happening a lot in today’s society. There are so many things being accepted and redefined by our society, that God says no, that’s wrong. Now the danger to us is that these ideas can slowly slip their way into the church. We have to be careful and we have to look at who we are submitting to, God’s authority or public opinion?
